Our hearts go out to the victims of racial inequality and social injustice wherever they may be.
The roots of these issues and atrocities are deep in our nation’s DNA, from past to present.
We are thinking about how the lives of BIPOC individuals have long been affected by systemic oppression. On top of that, police brutality rages on and white supremacists continue their disgusting and hateful actions.
Deep-seated racial bias is causing pain, fear, despair, outrage and frustration for so many people.
To change this, to build the future we want and deserve, it is imperative for ALL OF US to act, and demand action from our elected officials and public servants. To secure and protect our basic human rights we must exercise our most basic constitutional rights as Americans.
We must commit to listening to and learning from our BIPOC friends. We have a lot to learn and miles to go,
but we are willing.
And please, when the time comes, VOTE.
