It has been awhile since we saw you! Have no fear, we have been hard at work ensuring that Honest Pint has the best season possible!
At Honest Pint Theatre Company, we believe theatre has the power to gather people, ignite conversation, challenge assumptions, and create real connection.
That belief is guiding everything we’re building right now.
We’re excited to share that we have secured the rights to three extraordinary plays and are actively working to produce them in the next 12 to 18 months, depending on venue availability, scheduling, and partnership opportunities.
We’re also exploring the possibility of bringing a hugely successful Off-Broadway immersive production to the Triangle — a show Broadway World called “the best immersive and experimental shows that NYC has to offer!”
In other words: there is a lot in the hopper at Honest Pint — and we could not be more excited about what’s ahead.

THE SHARK IS BROKEN

The first summer blockbuster is being filmed… but from inside the chaos, no one can tell they’re making history.
Set behind the scenes of the troubled Jaws shoot, The Shark Is Broken is a sharp, funny, and unexpectedly moving comedy about clashing egos, mechanical disasters, big personalities, and the strange alchemy of art under pressure. As Robert Shaw, Richard Dreyfuss, and Roy Scheider wait on a boat while the shark repeatedly fails, they argue, drink, reflect, and stumble toward a kind of unlikely fellowship.
This is a hilarious, actor-driven, show that is cinematic in scope but intimate in feel, and packed with wit, tension, and heart.
GRAND CONCOURSE

We’re also in conversations about bringing a wildly inventive Off-Broadway hit to the Triangle...one that feels especially well matched to the Honest Pint spirit.
Broadway World called “the best immersive and experimental shows that NYC has to offer!" The Huffington post called is “An absolute must-see!”
This acclaimed theatrical experience blends music, comedy, history, science, and cocktails into something immersive, surprising, and unlike anything else in our current lineup. It’s smart, playful, and built around the kind of communal experience we love: people gathering together, raising a glass, and sharing in something unforgettable.
In other words, it feels a little bit like it was made for us.
We aren’t ready to announce the title just yet, but we can say this: if it comes together, it would be a bold, joyful, one-of-a-kind event for Triangle audiences.
